We’re very honoured to have been involved in the making of this heartwarming film, providing character sculpts for the main cast of animals incuding, Robin, Magpie, Cat, Dad Mouse, Pip, Dink, Flynn & Flin. Working from drawings by designer Matt Forsythe, our job was to translate the character designs into three dimentional forms. Our aim was to find the final look of these characters and retain some of the graphic 2D charm that was in the artwork. These clay sculpts were digitally scanned and used by the team of model makers at Aardman to create the felt puppets that are used in the film.
