We had the pleasure of delivering a selection of chef and food characters for this commercial that mixed both animated stop motion puppets and live action rod puppets. Working from designs by Stevie Gee and Essy May we made a range of claymation style food characters including a meatball in sunglasses, donut head, samosa dude and an ice cream queen. We also made a trio of rod puppet chefs, a dancing burrito and three cycling ‘dashers’ that were all hand operated. It’s not everyday you see a burger riding a BMX. Congratulations to the whole crew for bringing these characters and the flavourhood to life.
