Shown above are the puppets we created for an installment of Netflix’s critically-acclaimed animated anthology show ‘Love Death + Robots’. Titled ‘All Through The House‘ and directed by Elliot Dear, it’s the show's first stop motion animated episode. The story follows siblings Leah & Billy who sneak downstairs on Christmas Eve to catch a glimps of Santa, but what they find instead is a terrifying twist that they’ll never forget.
Working from supplied designs we sculpted and fabricated Leah, Billy and the Monster (Santa), all of which are silicone puppets with ball and socket armatures. Our Leah & Billy puppets' faces were scanned and digitally recreated to animate the childrens expressions. These were then seamlessly tracked and composited back onto the puppets heads.
