It was a pleasure to once again work with directors by Stevie Gee and Essy May on another mixed media Amazon Music commerical. This time I made a stop motion Hip Hop BMX rider who was filmed with a fish eye lens on a motion control camera and later composited into a colourful 2D animated world.
Working from deisgns by Stevie Gee, I sculpted and fabrictaed the puppet that featured a wire armature, silicone hands with tattoos and brass rings, plus a selection of replacement mouths and eye blinks for different facial expressions. The fabric costume was made by the talented Rachel Brown.
I also built the BMX bike that was made from stainless steel and featured moving wheels and peddles.
