I was given the task of creating some puppets as part of the Amazon Books - ‘That Reading Feeling Awaits’ ad campaign. With direction from Isabel Garrett, I crafted two puppets, an old sailor and his dog. These characters were part of a very textured, fabric world, so I used a variety of textiles and materials including cotton and wool.

The Dog was needle felted using a rangle of different colour wools over a wire armature. The Sailor featured a felt hat, cotton covered hands and face with a needle felted beard. His outfit and boots were made by Rachel Brown.
