We were asked by the team at Aardman to design and sculpt some clay maquettes of Martin Thatcher and his dog, Myrtle, for this Thatchers Cider commericial.
Our job was to reimagine them in the style of stop motion puppets to demonstrate how they would appear in a handmade animated version of their cidre farm.
These sculptures were used in the pitching process to help secure the job, with the final commercial being produced by the team at Aardman.
